Serve this fresh, refreshing authentic Greek village salad, with Greek or Cypriot pita bread as an appetiser or a side dish and accompany it with the elegant and aromatic rosé wine Playiá Rosé Dry by Oenou Yi-Ktima Vassiliades.


Ingredients:

  • 2-3 tomatoes, cubed
  • 2-3 cucumbers, chopped
  • 1 large pepper, any colour you prefer, chopped
  • 1 red onion, cut in rings
  • Feta cheese, cubed
  • Black or green olives
  • 3 tsp. capers

For the dressing:

  • 2-3 tbsps olive oil
  • 2-3 tbsps red wine vinegar or balsamic vinegar
  • ½ tsp. dried mint
  •  ½ tsp. dried oregano

To serve:

  • Greek or Cypriot pita bread

Preparation:

  1. Chop up all your ingredients and place them in a bowl.
  2. Prepare the dressing by mixing all the ingredients in a bowl.
  3. Add the dressing to your salad and mix.
  4. Serve with Greek or Cypriot pita bread and a glass of rosé wine Playiá Rosé Dry by Oenou Yi-Ktima Vassiliades!
