Put together this refreshing, tasteful summer fruit salad and toss it in a delicious white wine simple syrup made with the medium-sweet Thaleró by Oenou Yi – Ktima Vassiliades!


Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Thaleró
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 2 cups strawberries, quartered
  • 1½ cups honeydew melon, cubed
  • 1½ cups cantaloupe, cubed
  • ¾ cup blueberries
  • Fresh mint leaves

Preparation:

  1. In a saucepan add the wine and sugar and stir over medium-low heat until the sugar dissolves into the wine. Remove and let cool. Chill in the fridge until ready to use.
  2. Combine your fruit and sliced mint in a large bowl.
  3. Chill until ready to serve.
  4. Serve the fruit salad into small bawls or half a melon for a fancy twist and drizzle with the wine syrup just before serving.
