Bake this past flora filled with Oenou Yi – Ktima Vassiliades plum jam for a delicious homemade sweet treat!
Ingredients:
- 250 gr. flour
- 60 gr. sugar
- 1 vanilla sachet
- 10 gr. salt
- 125 gr. butter
- zest from half a lemon
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 egg
- 500 gr. plum jam Oenou Yi – Ktima Vassiliades
Preparation:
- In a mixer add the flour, sugar, salt, vanilla and lemon zest and mix well.
- Add the eggs and continue to mix until the mixture is homogenised.
- Remove the dough from the mixer and knead it well. Remove 200 gr. of dough and refrigerate.
- Grease a tart plate and then spread the rest of the dough on the entire surface to form the base.
- Fill the tart with Oenou Yi – Ktima Vassiliades plum jam.
- Use the refrigerated dough to form long narrow strips to decorate the top of the pie.
- Bake the past flora in the oven at 165oC for about 45 minutes.
- Let it cool completely before serving and enjoy!
