Hawthorn jam by Oenou Yi – Ktima Vassiliades can sweeten afternoon delicacies to please you and your guests. Bake these homemade, fluffy butter croissants and serve them alongside our hawthorn jam.
Ingredients:
- 300 gr. flour
- 1 yeast sachet
- 10 gr. salt
- 50 gr. sugar
- 200 gr. butter
- 120 ml water
- 160 ml milk
- 1 egg

Preparation:
- In the mixer add the flour, salt, yeast and sugar. Then add the milk, water and butter and knead it to form a dough.
- Wrap the dough in clingfilm and put it in the freezer for 15 minutes.
- Place the dough on your workbench, roll it out and then fold the edges inwards like an envelope.
- Dust with flour and roll it out in a rectangular shape.
- Dust the center with flour and fold one edge over the other.
- Repeat the same process 3 times.
- Cut the dough into triangles and roll them inwards, forming the croissants.
- Bake the croissants on a non-stick paper for about 20 minutes, at 200 degrees in the oven.
- Serve them alongside Oenou Yi – Ktima Vassiliades’ hawthorn jam and enjoy!
