We look for them all year round, but during the summer months, a fancy, cold cocktail best accompanies our evenings and gatherings. Before a meal, as an aperitif, after your meal or without an accompanying dish, we suggest ten elegant cocktails with ‘Oenou Yi’ Zivania and we prove to you the endless possibilities of this Cypriot treasure!


1. Refreshing, you can serve it before a meal, as an aperitif.

Ingredients for 2 cocktails:
• 30ml ‘Oenou Yi’ Zivania
• 30ml liqueur of your choice (cherry, mastic, lemon, pear)
• 140ml sparkling white wine or champagne
• Crushed ice
• Fresh fruit, depending on the liqueur

Preparation:
1. Fill 2 flute glasses with ice up to the middle.
2. Divide ‘Oenou Yi’ Zivania into glasses.
3. Add the liqueur and sparkling white wine.
4. Garnish with a slice of fresh fruit of your choice.


2. Delicious and sturdy, serve it with sweet dishes.

Ingredients for 2 cocktails:
• 120ml ‘Oenou Yi’ Zivania
• 60ml lemon juice
• 40ml honey
• Ice
• Honeycomb for garnish

Preparation:
1. Place ice, together with all the ingredients in a shaker.
2. Shake well.
3. Strain into 2 saucers.
4. Garnish with honeycomb.


3. Cool, it goes perfectly with heavier dishes.

Ingredients for 2 cocktails:
• 60ml ‘Oenou Yi’ Zivania
• 60ml cognac/brandy
• 20ml sugar syrup
• 60ml lemon soda
• Ice
• Lemon slice for garnish

Preparation:
1. Divide ice into two glasses.
2. Add ‘Oenou Yi’ Zivania, brandy and sugar syrup.
3. Fill with lemon soda.
4. Garnish with lemon slices.


4. Enjoyable and playful, it stands alone, unaccompanied or with something lighter.

Ingredients for 2 cocktails:
• 30ml ‘Oenou Yi’ Zivania
• 70ml lemon or orange juice
• 70ml soda
• 30ml amaretto
• Ice
• Lemon or orange peel for garnish

Preparation:
1. Fill 2 glasses with ice.
2. Add ‘Oenou Yi’ Zivania and the juice.
3. Fill with soda.
4. Add the Amaretto.
5. Garnish with peel of choice and serve.


5. Attractive and refreshing, serve it before the meal as an aperitif.

Ingredients for 2 cocktails:
• 60ml ‘Oenou Yi’ Zivania
• 20ml lemon squash
• 120ml carbonated water
• 20ml almond liqueur
• Crushed ice
• Lemon slice for garnish

Preparation:
1. Fill 2 flute glasses with crushed ice to the middle.
2. Add ‘Oenou Yi’ Zivania.
3. Add the lemon squash and sparkling water.
4. Top with almond liqueur.
5. Garnish with lemon slice and serve.

Ingredients for 2 cocktails:
• 90ml ‘Oenou Yi’ Zivania
• 30ml ouzo
• 40ml lemon juice
• 160ml soda
• 20ml bitters
• Ice
• Lemon peel for garnish

Preparation:
1. Add all the ingredients to a glass.
2. Mix well.
3. Fill 2 glasses with ice and split the cocktail.
4. Garnish with lemon peel.


7. Enchanting and full, it is easily drunk, even with lunch.

Ingredients for 2 cocktails:
• 60ml ‘Oenou Yi’ Zivania
• 140ml orange juice
• Ice
• Orange slice/peel for garnish

Preparation:
1. Fill 2 glasses with ice.
2. Add ‘Oenou Yi’ Zivania and orange juice and mix.
3. Garnish with orange and serve.


8. Delicate and playful, it goes well with food, but also without any side.

Ingredients for 2 cocktails:
• 120ml ‘Oenou Yi’ Zivania
• 120ml grape juice
• 80ml lemon soda
• 20ml bitters
• Ice
• Grapes for garnish

Preparation:
1. Fill 2 glasses with ice.
2. In another glass, mix all the ingredients well.
3. Divide the cocktail into 2 glasses.
4. Garnish with grapes and serve.


9. Refreshing and summery, it goes perfectly with cheeses, dried and fresh fruit.

Ingredients for 2 cocktails:
• 60ml ‘Oenou Yi’ Zivania
• 20ml bitters
• 20ml lemon squash
• 60ml soda
• Ice
• Lemon slice for garnish

Preparation:
1. Add ice to 2 glasses
2. Add ‘Oenou Yi’ Zivania.
3. Add the bitters and the lemon squash.
4. Fill with soda.
5. Garnish with lemon and serve.


10. Simple, refreshing and ideal for summer evenings, with or without any side dishes.

Ingredients for 2 cocktails:
• 60ml ‘Oenou Yi’ Zivania
• 30ml lime juice
• 90ml soda
• Ice
• Lime peel for garnish

Preparation:
1. Fill 2 low glasses with ice.
2. Add ‘Oenou Yi’ Zivania and lime juice.
3. Top with soda.
4. Garnish with lime peel and serve.
