We would love to see you this Sunday, 19 June, at Limassol’s Old Port Square from 18:00 until 22:00. Oenou Yi-Ktima Vassiliades participates in ‘Wine-Flavors of Cyprus’, where we will proudly be serving our award-winning wines and would be happy to meet you in person!

The event, which is annually held by the Cyprus Oenophile Association since 2013 (except 2020 and 2021 due to the covid pandemic) is under the auspices of Limassol Municipality and aims to introduce people in the magical world of wine. Visit us to taste the indigenous varieties of Cyprus and also international varieties that thrive under the Cypriot terroir.

The night’s programme includes, but is not limited to:
• Promotion and exhibition of Cypriot wine and tasting with the purchase of a collectible wine glass
• Music by Constantina Christodoulou (piano-harmonium-voice)
• Presentation of palouze production and free tasting
• Presentation of zivania production, where visitors will have the opportunity to listen and learn the basic principles of zivania distilling, its qualities and consumption methods, as well as taste it
• Experiential workshop and demonstration of the principles of presenting and serving wine (opening and serving of sparkling, white and red wine, temperature and serving priority, basic food pairing principles)
• Experiential workshop for the right way to test and evaluate wines, based on their basic characteristics: appearance (clarity, colour and shades), aroma (aroma categories), taste and aftertaste (the basic flavours of wines and unleavened sugars)
