Oenou Yi-Ktima Vassiliades acquired six gold medals and a special distinction for OÍKADE – the red indigenous variety Yiannoudi – at the 13th Cyprus Wine Competition, proving, yet again, that hard work is rewarded!
This year’s competition was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment and the International Organisation of Vine and Wine, based on approved and recognised international standards. Oenou Yi-Ktima Vassiliades – competing amongst other wineries and 178 different wine samples – acquired seven new medals, which were divided into two categories: dry and semi-dry and sweet and semi-sweet.
