It is white, with light green and golden shades reminiscing pomegranate colour.
It presents a rich and full mouth, with metallicity. Its mild flavours and aromatic character take on the characteristics of the particular terroir in which it grows. It is distinguished by the aromas of fresh yellow fruits and citruses with scents of mineral groves.
Due to its high acidity, Assyrtiko has durability even after five or ten years, and under the right conditions, it gives even more intense and special flavours and characteristic aging aromas.
